PAPER Textures for project backgrounds

If you chose to do the sea creature project, here are some potential backgrounds to use. As a whole, these projects will look better if you have a sense of continuity between your projects. Using these old beaten up textures as the background will help. You can layer your 3D files over the paper in Photoshop (will look better than in blender).

Projecton 3D File

Hello team. Here is a .blend file that Steven Thierman put together. It was based on the old photograph, so some of the dimensions may need some tweaking. But...it's a good starting point for those of you who want to think about blocking your animation out in 3D space.
The file is HERE

Please bring some tests to class tomorrow. Also, we will be doing our first projection test on Wednesday night of next week (heads up).

2010 Projections

Ok! Here is the full night of projections from my 3D animation class! Was going to get this shit up faster, but then I graduated from college so I got a bit side tracked :P Enjoy! Bunch of cool stuff that my other class mates thought up.

Oh also...recording a projected video on a side of a building at night doesn't make for the best contrast and color, but it beats nothing :)

Here is my animation projected onto the side of Villard. the video didn't capture the video's color very well, but that's more because of the low light levels when showing shit at night :P ENJOY!
